As promised I said I would come back and give my final verdict on using the dealerbid.co.uk comparison website for selling my car.

As mentioned previously I used the site which helped me get offers to buy my car from dealers across the internet and ones that don't really advertise online. I received a lot of response with lots of further questions and quite a few offers.

I finally agreed a deal with "cracknell cars" who were substantially offering more than anywhere else and an awful lot more than the likes of webuyanycar.com.

They agreed to collect my car on the 31st of May but as with all these types of buying services I was apprehensive as to if I would actually get the figure agreed as it is well known that a lot of these companies, we buy any car for example have had a lot of bad press about adjusting the price when you take your car to them, saying this that and the other is wrong with it.

Anyway I digress, "Colin" from Cracknell cars came to collect the car on Friday 31st at 1pm as agreed. He had a quick look around the car, browsed through the paperwork and was happy with how I had described the car. He made an online transfer of funds for the agreed price and my bank confirmed that the payment was cleared and showing in my account.

So my final verdict is that dealerbid.co.uk is an easy to use site, ridiculously cheap considering the extra money it gained me and a fantastic way to get offers for your car from dealers you would have otherwise never heard of.

I'm not sure what response you might have for an older car or one with very high mileage as I can guess that these probably aren't as in demand but again they may well have buyers for those types of vehicle as well.

Over all I would give the site 10 out of 10 for ease of use, the results and also the professionalism and integrity of the dealers, well the one I dealt with at least.
